2nd Gulf Conference on Emirates Speech Language Pathology Society
This symposium will focus on the early intervention practice in speech-language pathology with special reference to this practice in the context of the Arab World. The event will include two workshops that examine clinical practices in children with Down Syndrome and those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In addition, the conference will also include a a variety of talks that focus on different disorders of communication and swallowing, such as cleft lip and palate, language impairment and feeding and stuttering. Two panel discussions will take place with a focus on early intervention in children with Down Syndrome.
The Emirates Medical Association (EMA) was established as a non-profit organisation composed of health practitioners that are members of the EMA as defined by its by-laws. EMA is responsible for supervising and conducting scientific training, events and conferences as well as collaborating with health organisations.
