Ataya Exhibition 2020
Since its inception, the Ataya Charity Exhibition has grown steadily every year, to become a landmark in the region’s humanitarian and community work. This is best reflected in the diverse activities undertaken by it annually. Community-based programs and initiatives related to health, education and enhancement of the individual's role in society are clearly seen in its support of autism centres.
This year's goal is to medically treat children with congenital disorders in developing countries suffering primarily from genetic ailments - apart from those with man-made ailments, mainly as a result of war.
During the last year, the proceeds of Ataya were used to help the inhabitants of a village in Mauritania, where the lack of medical treatment had left more than half of its population suffering from genetic blindness, for decades.
