Printmaking Workshop: Lino Reduction
This session of the workshop series on printmaking is dedicated to this technique. Participants will learn the concepts of layer order and block registration, before creating their own print work made up of two or three layers.
Lino printing is a form of fine art printmaking where the printing plate is cut into lino. The lino is then inked, a piece of paper placed over it and then run through a printing press or pressure applied by hand to transfer the ink to the paper.
