Ramadan Programme at Al Qattara Arts Centre
Al Qattara Arts Centre is offering a series of skill development workshops inspired by the holy month of Ramadan. All workshops will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams, you can also visit the center to attend the live workshop, however a prior registration is required via email. All workshops will be free of charge and and will be held in Arabic.
Workshops will feature preparation of traditional Emirati dishes including Kanfaroush and M’halla Zayed, household utensils Decoupage with both cups and dishes, making of home accessories, and Oud Play.
Al Qattara Arts Centre plays a unique role in Al Ain’s art and cultural scene. It is not only a place for people to see art, but also a place to create it. The centre was established in 2011 as a venue where art and culture can be studied, practiced and developed by Emiratis. The centre’s art gallery displays art by expatriate and Emirati artists. There also is a permanent venue for archaeological and heritage exhibits, and studios for art classes.
